FINANCIAL INFORMATION FOR 2026-2027
Wedgefield University for Kids
PAYMENT METHODS: Wedgefield University for Kids has contracted with FACTS Management for the 2026-2027 school year. The FACTS website is http://online.factsmgt.com/login. New parents should set up their accounts immediately after enrolling a child. Several payment dates are available for monthly plans. There is an annual fee of $55 per family (charged by FACTS on the first payment made).
REGISTRATION (due upon enrollment or re-enrollment): This charge covers testing, library acquisitions, furniture, equipment (instructional and playground), summer maintenance, and membership in the South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) and American Association of Christian Schools (AACS). These organizations provide legal oversight, certification for our teachers, and accreditation for the school. The fee is $150 per student for all grades. The registration fee is assessed to your account.
TUITION: The tuition, usually paid in 10 payments August through May, pays for faculty and staff salaries and benefits and the daily operations of the school. The annual cost of tuition is as follows:

DISCOUNTS: Two students in the same family living at the same address and being billed as one account receive a 10% discount on the annual tuition; three receive a 12% discount; four or more receive a 15% discount. There is no discount on the registration or Book fees. A 5% discount is given on the annual tuition if it is paid in full before Open House (or at Open House). Active military families that are new to Wedgefield University for Kids in 2026-2027 receive a 5% discount on tuition (for the first year only). All families at WU4K can receive referral credits for students who enroll because of your recommendation.
BOOK FEES: Book fees must be paid by Open House since we cannot distribute books until they are purchased. The fee is assessed to the accounts in June so payments may be made in increments or all at once before Open House. Please see the page titled "Workbook and Class Fees" for the most current listing of these costs.
DAYCARE: Students who arrive for early care, stay for late care, or attend on days when the school is closed are charged a daily or weekly rate per child.
OTHER FEES: A graduation fee is due for all graduates. Kindergarten ($40), 5'"'Graders ($45), and 8* Graders ($50). This covers the production cost of diplomas, cost of cap & gown, and a reception after graduation. A withdrawal fee of $50 will be charged if a student withdraws after the first day of school.
REFUNDS: Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Bookfees are refundable if the books are totally unused. Unused tuition is refundable and is calculated by prorating the daily rate of tuition (based on 180 days).
PAST DUES: Parents whose accounts are 30 days in arrears must submit a written payment plan to the School Board fortheir approval to maintain enrollment in Wedgefield University for Kids. All records and report cards are withheld until tuition and all other school fees are paid in full. Students may not attend the first day of school unless the account is current.
WITHDRAWAL/TRANSFER FEE: Withdrawal or Transfer Fees - Students who withdraw or transfer after enrollment confirmation are subject to a withdrawal/transferfee of $50. Fees are non-refundable and apply in addition to any tuition obligations.
Registration fees must be paid when you turn in your paperwork. If your account is not current, then you may NOT register your child until the account is current.
