The purpose of our dress code is to promote a Christ-centered learning environment that reflects modesty, cleanliness, respect, safety, and school pride. Students are expected to present themselves in a manner that honors God, respects others, supports the values of community, and creates an atmosphere conducive to learning.
The administration reserves the right to determine whether attire is appropriate and in keeping with the spirit and intent of the dress code.
Uniform Requirements
Male
Tops
- School T-shirt, solid-color shirt, or school-approved collared/polo shirt in any color
Bottoms
- Khaki, navy blue, or black shorts or pants
Athletic, cargo, canvas-style bottoms, and jeans are not permitted.
Outerwear
- Jackets
- Sweaters
- School hoodies only
Inappropriate messages, logos, advertisements, or graphics are not permitted.
Female
Tops
- School T-shirt, solid-color shirt, or school-approved collared/polo shirt in any color
Bottoms
- Khaki, navy blue, or black shorts
- Pants
- Skirts
- Skorts
- Dress-style jumpers
Athletic, cargo, canvas-style bottoms, and jeans are not permitted.
Outerwear
- Jackets

- School hoodies only
Inappropriate messages, logos, advertisements, or graphics are not permitted.
Footwear, Belts, Grooming, and Jewelry
Male
Approved Shoes
- Athletic shoes
- Non-skid dress shoes
- Loafers
- Boots
Crocs, open-toed shoes, sandals, slippers, slides, and other unsafe footwear are not permitted.
Socks
- No prints or additional colors
- White, black, navy, gray, or khaki are acceptable
Belts
- Belts must be worn with shorts or pants that have belt loops.
- Approved belt colors are khaki, brown, black, or navy blue.
Grooming Standards
- Hair must be clean and properly groomed.
- Hair must not obstruct the student’s vision.
- Unnatural hair colors are prohibited.
Jewelry
- No piercings of any kind are permitted.
- Jewelry must not distract from the learning environment or create a safety concern.
Female

- Loafers
- Boots
Crocs, open-toed shoes, sandals, slippers, slides, and other unsafe footwear are not permitted.
Socks, Leggings, and Tights
- No prints or additional colors
- White, black, navy, gray, or khaki are acceptable
- Leggings may be worn only under skirts, jumpers, or dresses.
Belts
- Belts must be worn with shorts, pants, skirts, skorts, or jumpers that have belt loops.
- Approved belt colors are khaki, brown, black, or navy blue.
Grooming Standards
- Hair must be clean and properly groomed.
- Hair must not obstruct the student’s vision.
- Unnatural hair colors, wigs, hair pieces, and similar items are prohibited.
- No makeup is permitted.
Jewelry
- Jewelry is limited to two piercings per earlobe.
- Jewelry must not distract from the learning environment or create a safety concern.
General Expectations
- Arrive at school clean, neat, and properly groomed.
- Wear clothing that is modest, appropriate, and in good repair.
- Follow all dress-code and uniform requirements during school hours, Monday through Friday.
- Follow the dress code during field trips, special events, and school-sponsored activities unless otherwise specified.
- Refrain from wearing clothing, accessories, or hairstyles that distract from the educational environment.
Clothing Not Permitted
The following items are prohibited:
- Clothing with offensive, vulgar, violent, racist, or otherwise inappropriate language or images
- Clothing promoting alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, drugs, or immoral behavior
- Crop tops, halter tops, spaghetti straps, or strapless garments
- Clothing that exposes the midriff
- Torn, frayed, or revealing clothing
- Pajamas or sleepwear unless approved for a special event
- Clothing displaying symbols, slogans, or messages contrary to the school’s Christian mission
- Clothing that does not fit properly or is not sized correctly, including clothing that is baggy, saggy, or excessively tight
Spirit Days & Special Events
The administration may designate special circumstances and events that alter the standard dress-code policy. However, special events and activities do not remove the school’s expectations of modesty, neatness, and cleanliness.
Some special-event days may be awarded to students individually and will be determined by the administration.
Special events and activities may include:
- Spirit Days
- Jeans Days with a school T-shirt, solid-colored shirt, and/or school hoodie
- Theme Days
- Field Trips
- Graduations
- Chapel Days
