Our ultimate purpose is to guide boys and girls toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and encourage them to live according to Christian principles. We strive to work alongside parents in raising children who are prepared to face life’s challenges with wisdom, character, and a strong foundation of faith.

WU4K utilizes the trusted ABeka curriculum, published by ABeka Books of Pensacola, Florida. This curriculum provides a strong academic foundation while supporting a Biblical worldview. Students receive focused instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics, while also exploring science, social studies, community helpers, seasonal themes, and local points of interest that help connect classroom learning to the world around them.
Bible instruction is woven throughout the school day and includes Bible stories, Scripture memorization, songs, and hands-on learning activities. More importantly, Biblical principles are integrated into every subject area and school activity, helping students understand how faith applies to everyday life. We incorporate God’s love and His plan for us in all we teach.
Our instructional approach combines the strengths of traditional education with proven contemporary teaching methods. We place a strong emphasis on phonics, reading comprehension, mathematics, and critical thinking while maintaining a structured, engaging classroom environment. Through this balanced approach, we seek to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and Christian character needed to succeed both in school and in life.

Elementary School
At Wedgefield University for Kids, our Elementary Program provides a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where children develop a love for learning while growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We use the lives of biblical men and women, the stories of Scripture, and timeless biblical principles as positive examples to help students develop Christian character, wisdom, compassion, and integrity. Working alongside parents, we strive to help each child build a strong foundation of faith while learning the importance of kindness, responsibility, respect, and serving others in ways that honor God.
Academically, our Elementary Program focuses on building strong foundational skills in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and other core subjects. Through engaging, age-appropriate instruction, students gain confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning while discovering that all truth finds its source in God. Our goal is to nurture each child’s spiritual, social, emotional, and academic growth, preparing them for success in middle school and for a lifetime of faithful Christian living.
Middle School
At Wedgefield University for Kids, our Middle School Program is designed to help students grow academically, spiritually, and personally during these important formative years. Through a Christ-centered education, students are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, develop strong Christian character, and apply biblical principles to everyday life. We partner with families to help students build a solid foundation of faith, integrity, responsibility, and leadership as they mature into young men and women of God.
At the same time, our program provides the academic preparation and life skills needed for success in high school and beyond. Through challenging coursework, critical thinking opportunities, and a supportive learning environment, students gain the confidence, knowledge, and study habits necessary to excel in future academic pursuits while remaining grounded in their Christian faith and values.
